Inspired by St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
The world-famous St. Jude Children's Research Hospital was founded by actor and activist Danny Thomas when he was a struggling young entertainer after he prayed to St. Jude for guidance on what path his life should take. As his career took off, Thomas kept his promise to St. Jude, and launched St. Jude Children's Hospital, which today is known to be an international beacon of hope for children suffering with catastrophic diseases and their families. So inspired by Thomas' efforts, Balloons for Luv founder Barbara Sayed believes in "never setting limits for myself," she says, and hopes to continue to grow the effort, lifting the spirits of children suffering with catastrophic illnesses, one balloon at a time.
